TheCOVID-19pandemichasdisruptedtheglobaleconomy.Thishasledtothegrowthofsomeindustrieswhileotherswereunabletosurvivethecrisis.

AttheheightoftheCOVID-19pandemic,Singaporeandmanysocietiesfacedahealthcrisisandeconomicrecession.Withtheeducationsectorsufferingatremendousblowfromthecrisis,currentandprospectivestudentsand/ortheirparentswhoselivelihoodswereimpactedbythepandemicandtheirabilitytokeeppaceoneducationfinancingwerethreatened.

InAugust,PSBAcademylaunchedtheFutureTogetherInitiative–a3millionself-fundedinitiativethataimstoprovidefinancialsupporttolocalstudentsinSingaporeamidtheongoingcoronaviruspandemicsituation.Thegoalofthecampaignwastoeducateandinformlocalstudentsandprofessionalsaboutthefinancialsupportrenderedandthepartnershipsinvolved.Bydoingso,PSBAcademysoughttosupportindividualswhoarekeentoembarkontheirstudiesorresumethemwithgreaterpeaceofmind.
